In support of Shine’s growing partnerships with government organisations on their digital delivery journey, Shine announced today that it has been accredited as a ProServe Ready Public Sector AWS partner with proven expertise in working alongside AWS Professional Services.
To receive both designations, AWS Partners must possess deep AWS Public Sector expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly in partnership with AWS. Shine has been selected due to its proven track record working in partnership with AWS ProServe on projects for the Department of Health, Australian Bureau of Statistics, Bureau of Meteorology and University of NSW.
Shine’s General Manager of Public Sector Consulting, Steven Bridle, said “Shine’s invitation to this program stems from our reputation for being a trusted, reliable adviser and developer for the Public Sector, delivering leading-edge AWS technical excellence in software development, migration and modernisation.”
Shine founder and CEO, Mark Johnson added, “Our Public Sector consulting practice has tripled in size this year because our government clients know they can trust us to deliver projects that meet their technical and operational objectives, on-time and within budget.”
“We’re investing particularly heavily in recruiting and developing highly-talented consultants with AWS Public Sector expertise, in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.”
Shine’s AWS expertise has also been recently recognised with the awarding of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Migration Competency. This designation recognizes that Shine provides deep expertise and proven best practices to help customers move successfully to AWS, through all phases of complex discovery, planning, migration and operations.
And to further codify Shine’s 10-years of excellence with AWS, Shine is also pending assessment audits for both the AWS DevOps and Government Competencies, with an expectation for these designations to be bestowed nearly 2023.
